I am happy to see that our federal government is taking Domestic Terrorism seriously, so much so that the FBI published a report on August 3rd, nine days prior to Charlottesville, outlining the “Domestic Terrorism Analysis Units” surveillance of the newest hate group who are endangering our lives with hate, bigotry, racism and violence. What group is this, you say, a new Skin Head group, Nazi’s for the 21st century, KKK ‘R’ us, NO, to my surprise it’s the “Black Identity Extremist” (BIE). This is the term that they’ve dreamed up to identify black people who protest the increasing number of cases of police brutality. They believe that this group of black people are spurring on violence against cops. The report states that these complaints are unfounded even though we see case, after case, after case, which proves otherwise, just check out YouTube.
Here’s a few stats for the non-believing crowd:
- There have been 98 cops killed so far in 2017, compared to 102 that were killed in 2016, 36 of those in 2017 were gun related, down from 44 in 2016.
- These deaths were due to accidents, fires, illnesses and other causes, just like anyone else, in any other profession.
- So far in 2017, 964 people have been killed by cops.
- Black people are 25% of those killed despite being only 13% of the population.
- 99% of these deaths have never resulted in officers being convicted of a crime.
So now the FBI is harkening back to 1966, and the days of J. Edgar Hoover and his crusade against “The Black Panther Party for Self Defense”. The founders, Bobby Seale and Huey Newton were experiencing what we’re are still experiencing today, police brutality without any accountability. They created an armed citizen patrol to monitor the behavior of the Oakland Police Department which challenged the culture of police brutality. The Panthers also created the “Free Breakfast for Children Program” and opened community health clinics. Despite all this, Hoover called them “the greatest threat to the internal security of the country”. Sound familiar?
This whole BIE crap is designed to identify black folks like “Black Lives Matter” who have organized to publicly protest the systemic killing of unarmed black people, by police officers. It is also designed to “shut the rest of us, up” by instilling fear into our black NFL & NBA players, black journalist, reporters, TV, radio, you tube personalities, and yes, also Bloggers. The list may grow, but that’s ok, because we are not going to “shut up”, we are no longer doing the “go along, to get along” bit, because it just didn’t work. Black people will continue speaking up and out against this insanity, until our Black lives matter as much as any other American’s.
